These are the terms we build to. Back patches, rockers, centers, and chapter markers for motorcycle clubs, riding groups, and independent riders, embroidered to the spec you approve and made from that same approved record on every reorder. Use the words below on your quote and nothing needs translating.
Back patch
The main patch on the back of your cut. Usually a 3-piece: top rocker + center + bottom rocker.
Rocker
The curved banner patches at the top and bottom of the back patch. Top rocker names the club; bottom rocker names the chapter or state.
Center
The main club emblem: skull, wings, animal, or club-specific insignia.
Colors
The full patch set including center and rockers. Sacred to the chapter.
1%er diamond
Small square worn by outlaw MCs. A reserved element, so we require verified officer contact.
Chapter markers
Small patches showing which chapter you ride with, year founded, or officer rank.

We're a factory-direct manufacturer, not a print shop that stamps out anything. We produce custom patches for chartered clubs, auto clubs, and riding associations. We do not produce:
- Patches identifying you as a member of a club you haven't verified affiliation with.
- Reserved elements (top rockers with existing club names, 1%er diamonds) without verified officer contact.
- Trademarked patches without written permission from the trademark holder.
- Patches depicting illegal content, explicit hate, or violence.

Back patches, rockers, and centers are embroidered on heavyweight twill with a merrowed edge, because that is what survives road wind and years on a cut. Where a piece carries small lettering, a chapter year, or a dense club seal, woven holds that detail where embroidery would close it up. Plenty of clubs run both across one set.

What clubs ask before they order.
Can you make a full three-piece back patch set?+
Yes. Top rocker, center, and bottom rocker are the classic three-piece, and we also make side rockers, chapter markers, and officer rank patches to go with them. Everything is embroidered on heavyweight twill with a merrowed edge so it holds up to road wind and years on a cut. You can order the whole set together or add pieces to it later.
How do we size a back patch before sending artwork?+
Measure the vest panel first, then work the artwork to fit it. A back-patch center usually runs 10 to 12 inches, with the rockers curving above and below it. Our motorcycle back patch size guide walks through measuring the panel and planning the layout, and we confirm the finished size with you on your Digital Mockup before anything is stitched.
Embroidered or PVC for a patch that lives out in the weather?+
Embroidered is the traditional cut look: thread dyed all the way through, a merrowed edge, and real presence on a leather vest. It softens gradually over years of sun and abrasion. PVC is solid molded rubber, fully waterproof, and wipes clean, which makes it the tougher answer when a piece is exposed to the weather constantly. Most clubs run embroidered on the cut and reach for PVC only where a patch takes a real beating.
What is the minimum order for MC patches?+
The minimum is 25 pieces per design, our Small Run tier. It carries a modest per-piece premium because the setup is the same whether you order 25 or 500. At 50 pieces you hit Best Value pricing, and the per-piece cost keeps dropping as the quantity climbs. The minimum is per design, so a rank patch and a center are counted separately.
If our chapter grows, will next year's patches match this year's?+
They start from the same approved design. The day you approve your Production Proof, we save your Pantone thread codes, the finished dimensions, and the stitch file in a permanent design record. Every reorder starts from that same record, so a patch for a new member years from now is made from the same specs as your founders' patches. There is no fresh setup charge or new approval cycle on a reorder.
What is the turnaround?+
You get a free Digital Mockup within 24 hours, with unlimited revisions. Approximately a week after you approve it, your Production Proof is ready: one actual finished patch, photographed for you. Nothing is mass produced until you approve that. Bulk Production then runs about two weeks for embroidered and woven patches, or three weeks for PVC, plus 7 to 14 days for delivery, free within the US. Full back-patch sets are quoted by hand, and we reply within 4 hours.
