Hat patches are made for caps, trucker hats, snapbacks and beanies, in embroidered, woven or PVC. A 3 inch embroidered hat patch is $3.90 each at 100 pieces, sew-on, with artwork setup and US shipping included. The minimum is 25 pieces. Orders arrive in about 4 to 5 weeks with prompt approvals, or 5 to 6 weeks for PVC. We make the patches; you or your hat supplier attach them.

A hat patch is a custom patch built and sized for headwear, then applied to the front, side, or back of a cap. We make the patch, you supply the hats or your decorator does, and the patch is what carries your logo, team, or brand. Keeping the two separate is what lets us focus on producing the best possible patch for the spot it has to sit in.

PVC

Sized to your hat, not to a rule of thumb.
There is no universal patch size for a hat, because hats are not built the same. The size that works depends on the usable decoration area of your actual hat, how the panel is constructed, whether it is a structured cap, a foam-front trucker, an unstructured dad cap, or a beanie, and where you want the patch to sit. A patch that looks right on a flat trucker front can wrap a seam on a curved six-panel cap.
So rather than publish a number that will be wrong for half of hats, we ask. Send the hat style and the placement you have in mind, front, side, or back, and we will recommend a size that fits that hat and confirm it on your Digital Mockup before anything is made. We produce standard sizes and non-standard shapes alike, so the recommendation is driven by your hat, not by what is easiest to make.

You approve a Digital Mockup, then a Production Proof: one actual finished patch, photographed for you. Nothing is mass produced until you approve that. We never auto-approve, and mockup revisions are free.
Backing add-ons
Iron-on adds $0.15 and velcro adds $0.55 per patch where they suit the hat. Sew-on is included.

Do you make the hats as well?+
No, we make the patch, not the hat. You supply your hats, or your decorator does, and apply the patch, or we can supply patches with the backing that suits your setup. That keeps us focused on producing the best patch for the job rather than sourcing blanks.
Can you match our brand colors on a hat patch?+
Yes. On embroidered and woven patches we match your colors to Pantone codes and save them to your approved design record, so a reorder for the next batch of caps starts from the same colors. On PVC the color is mixed into the rubber and confirmed on your proof. Either way the color is set before production, not left to chance.
